Grouse and Trout

The New Mexico Grouse season opens in the northern part of state in September and runs the entire month.  This time also coincides with excellent fly fishing for Browns in New Mexico trout waters.  The Grouse and Trout Guide Trips will take place over two days; one day devoted to pursuing Brown Trout and the second day, hunting Blue Grouse.  This grouse species is the second largest grouse species and is quite enjoyable to hunt.  Autumn is spawning time for Brown Trout - offering a good opportunity to catch Brown Trout on a fly rod.  This combination of trips - with the scenic background of New Mexico mountains during the early autumn of the southern Rockies - are second to none in outdoor pleasure.
